This slide presentation was made by a friend and was the introduction to a Veterans’ Day event on November 8, 2012. It reminded me of so many who have made sacrifices for this great country of ours. Some gave all, and the families continue to grieve the loss of their sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, and husbands and wives.

Done in honor and remembrance of all who have served.

On this Veterans Day, we thank those who gave so much of themselves for our nation, its people and for that which this nation stands.

It is our turn now to give back.  Support our heroes.  Support the men and women who served, continue to serve and the families of those whom when the moment came upon them, gave all.  We must never forget them and must forever stand by them.
