Casting aside God’s word, the Obama administration has apparently decreed that Sunday church is for political campaigning, deriding the GOP, dividing the country and getting re-elected.  Even more repulsive is that his supporters have no objection to such irreverence.

“One day before Martin Luther King Day, Senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett spoke at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her appearance was notable for a number of reasons. To begin with, King was a preacher at the church, so the timing of the address, during which she praised the civil rights leader for paving the way for Obama’s historic presidency, was appropriate.

But of additional interest was Jarrett’s politically-charged speech, which, according to the Weekly Standard, she delivered to the church’s congregants just before the house of worship hosted a voter registration drive. Rather than dancing around the political nature of her position to deliver a sermon or a message rooted purely in Biblical nature, she took the opportunity to lambaste Republicans.

‘Teachers, and firefighters, and policemen, whose jobs are now in jeopardy because Congress — well let me be specific — because the Republicans in Congress,’ she said….

…Additionally, the church’s pastor, Raphael Warnock, lambasted Republican Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich during his sermon. Warnock took particular issue with comments that the presidential contender made about food stamps and the African American community.

‘He is playing an old game that’s part of the southern strategy…I think he’s relying on old logic of scapegoating and race baiting,’ he said.”

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.  Romans 16:17-18

Are moonbats so enamored with Barack Obama, a false prophet that they willingly accept deceptive rhetoric espoused by Progressives, in this case, Jarrett…in God’s House?

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”  Matthew 7:15

After services, the church then went on to hold a voter registration drive.  Where is the IRS when you need them?

Pursuant to the accusations of Newt Gingrich “scapegoating and race baiting”, I must beg to differ.  Progressives own “scapegoating and race baiting” hands down.

In October 2008, before Obama entered the White House, 30,841,790 people received food stamps.

In October 2010, 43,201,052 people collected food stamps and as of October that figure jumped to 46,224,722.

That is an increase of 15,382,932 people collecting food stamps under the Obama administration.  Hence, Obama owns the title, Food Stamp King lock, stock and barrel.

Moving on, the separation of church and state apparently does not apply to Progressives nor do the hypocrisy and profanity that surrounds them.

Even more disconcerting is the willingness of Black America to follow Obama back down the road to serfdom but I will reserve that dialogue for another post.
