~ “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts.” Ronald Reagan.
Good Sunday morning. Certainly you are not a moonbat. I refer to the walking dead. Unfortunately, there are far too many who still simply do not get it.
Just an observation. Of these three isms, only Islam recognizes a Creator. Granted, Allah is rather tyrannical. To the Nazis and the Communist, life is cheap. As ruthless as some Islamic regimes may be and may have been, I never heard of Muslims systematically murdering millions.
They are and they have, they’ve massacred thousands during their conquests from the 7th century onwards and they continue doing so today, even with their own people. If they’d have their way, Jews (especially in Israel) would be in for yet another genocide.
Several items under “Nazism” are inaccurate or clearly incorrect:
1. Women did not have true equality with men. Women were viewed as breeders to keep the “race” going. Women performed certain functions in employment, etc. that made it appear they had equality, but under the surface they were subjugated.
2. Nazism did not allow citizens to marry whomever they loved (see Nuremberg laws, etc.)
3. Sexual freedom existed, but in some ways was perverse (i.e. young/underage females were encouraged to engage in sex to produce offspring). Adult women caught in sexual relationships with Jewish or otherwise “undesirable” men were punished. That’s not sexual freedom. It’s coercion.
4. In some instances, children were forced to wear Nazi dress, whether their parents wanted them to or not, so freedom to dress the way you wanted only extended so far.
The chart should be updated with an accurate reflection of Nazism.
Good points. I was looking at the chart and thinking–there’s something worse than Nazism? Of course, I’ll never live in any of the three. (I know what you’re thinking, PUMA, we are marching towards communism) But I repeat, I probably won’t live through it.
I really should have caught that in the chart. I too kept going back to Nazism but I was fighting with my a/c at the time of the posting, agitated, sweating profusely and trying to get at least ONE post out. (Teachable moment)
Freedom, I have faith in your (our, America’s) strength. We are fighting the good fight and with the blessings of God, we shall stand firm by taking ‘up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.”
Would like to see a comparison of all different religions on this scale, Christianity wouldn’t come out so well either and nor would most other religions, though to my knowledge Islam would still be the only one that allows none of the freedoms that you discuss.
Hey, who u calling Moonbats!? 🙂
