April 2009

Four months into the year and we still do not know who Barack Obama is.

Obama’s attorneys and the attorneys of his associates are doing double duty to keep Obama’s dirty dealings from becoming public.  So much so that any investigations into to Tony Rezko continues to be hampered. Why?  Apparently, where there is smoke, there is a hell of a lot of fire.

“Why is there so little media investigation of the financing behind Barack Obama’s early political sponsor-and now convicted felon-Tony Rezko?

The dual US-Syrian citizen Rezko–who assisted Obama in the purchase of his Chicago mansion–was heavily funded by loans from Iraqi-British ex-Baathist billionaire Nadhmi Auchi.  According to testimony at Rezko’s trial, Obama met Auchi at an April 3, 2004 event at Rezko’s home during Obama’s 2004 US Senate campaign.  The Times of London reports discovering, “state documents in Illinois recording that Fintrade Services, a Panamanian company, lent money to Mr. Obama’s fundraiser in May 2005.”  Fintrade directors, according to The Times “include Ibtisam Auchi, the name of Mr. Auchi’s wife”.

Media bias is an easy-and intellectually lazy–explanation.  Journalists digging into stories involving Auchi often find themselves peppered with threats of libel litigation from a London law firm known as Carter-Ruck.  Hawai’i Free Press has received several such letters.

In a free society, one might expect reporters confident of the accuracy of their reporting to shrug off such threats.  But Auchi’s attorneys are operating under the laws of an increasingly un-free society-England.

Auchi’s litigation threats have chased eight articles from the internet sites of the UK Guardian, Observer and New Statesman.  Sweden-based website Wikileaks has posted the eight articles but writes:

“The censorship of The New Statesman’s political editor, Martin Bright, who was co-author for some of the Guardian and Observer articles, is particularly galling. In April Mr. Bright warned New Statesman readers about the censorship of the Guardian and Observer in an article on the Index on Censorship’s annual Freedom of Expression Awards (one of which was won by Wikileaks). Then, in a bow to Kafka’s The Trial, Mr. Bright’s warning was in its turn censored by legal threats from Auchi.”

Wikileaks itself is now under legal attack by Auchi’s lawyers….

A lot of money is being put out to keep the truth from coming out. This is censorship and suppression. We have a right to know without our journalists being shut down and threatened with litigation.

“CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) – Ken Lewis was ousted as chairman of Bank of America Corp. Wednesday after shareholders angry about the company’s acquisition of Merrill Lynch & Co. voted to separate the job from that of chief executive.

Lewis will remain the CEO of the bank, but board member Walter E. Massey, the president emeritus of Morehouse College in Atlanta, will become BofA’s chairman.

Shareholders narrowly voted at the bank’s annual meeting Wednesday to split the jobs following months of rancor over the Merrill Lynch acquisition. After the deal was sealed Jan. 1, Merrill Lynch reported $15 billion in fourth-quarter losses and it was learned that Bank of America had approved the early payout of billions of dollars in bonuses to Merrill Lynch employees.

Lewis, who was chairman and CEO since 2001, has spent much of this year defending his actions – and did so again during the angry four-hour meeting….”

For starters, Obama is far from a manly man. He is a coward, a liar, a deceitful low life, a Manchurian candidate, un-American and the hedge fund king’s puppet.  Oh….and a punk.

Much like the mirror that has two faces, once the mission has been accomplished, Obama will sit and wait patiently for George Soros to say the magic words, and then his ass can finally self-destruct.

Two weeks ago, the Manchurian candidate, the liar  POTUS said he knew nothing of the tea parties.

However, two weeks later, before a forum of robots, Barack,  the elitist sunk to an all new low, reminding the world of his true nature by attacking honest American citizens, i.e., those who dare to stand up to his empty rhetoric, lies, fabrications, half truths and threats to our Constitution and the American way of life.

Obambi is angry that we have chosen to exercise our rights as we are entitled pursuant to the Constitution of the United States.  Obambi is apopleptic that we have taken a stand for America and for our children, so much so that he just can not  handle it.

Like hell he knew nothing of the tea parties.  He has been itching for two weeks to throw stones, but he had to be in the company of morons to get the nerve up to do it.  This in itself speaks volumes about the character of the man, not man, punk.

Rather than rise to the occasion, Obambi has instead chosen to make it personal which he really should have thought twice about because it now raises further questions as to who he is, or is not and his qualifications. It is clear the man has no upbringing otherwise he would have handled the tea parties and those who are not in line with the mighty obama with dignity and class.

As Obamabots support their messiah’s 100 days in office, reality continues to escape them.  While Obama and minions nauseatingly continue to slap each other on the back in celebration of the destruction of a nation, I thought it a great time for a reality check of the failings of Barack Obama.

During the presidential campaign, The Chronicle tracked the candidates’ “lies, half-truths and contradictions.” Here are some actions by the administration that didn’t follow through on statements Obama made during the campaign and some contradictory statements from the president’s first 100 days in office.

The statement The distortion
During the campaign, candidate Obama promised to “eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year.” No such relief was in Obama’s first budget proposal or the stimulus package.
While discussing increasing drug violence in Mexico, President Obama said, “More than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States.” Not exactly. That is the percentage of guns used in crimes that have been submitted by Mexico and traced by U.S. officials. Both countries say Mexican officials recover many more guns than they submit.
At a prime-time press conference in March, President Obama said he was angry about the “inexcusable” bonuses given to AIG executives. Maybe he should have been angry at his own staff, which watered down a bonus-limiting provision in the stimulus bill to any company receiving funds from the Troubled Assets Relief Program. They feared banks wouldn’t accept the bonus limits and that the limits wouldn’t withstand legal challenges.
While banning the use of harsh interrogation tactics on terrorist suspects, President Obama said it was a time for “reflection” not “retribution” concerning prosecuting the architects of the Bush-era torture tactics. Last week was a torture contradiction-fest. On April 19, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said Obama thinks the torture architects should “not be prosecuted.” The next day, press secretary Robert Gibbs said Obama wanted to “look forward” on the issue. The next day, Obama said it was up to Attorney General Eric Holder to decide what to do.
During the campaign, Obama promised to remove troops from Iraq within 16 months of taking office. In February, the president said combat operations in Iraq would end by Aug. 31, 2010 – 19 months after his taking office. The compromise was a nod to the wishes of his military advisers.
The Obama administration has said that it highly values transparency. As a candidate, Obama criticized the Bush administration for cherry-picking intelligence reports on Iraq to fit its goals. The Obama administration has done its own cherry-picking. It released a condensed memo this month from White House intelligence director Dennis Blair that omitted this sentence, which contradicts its position on torture: “High-value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qaeda organization that was attacking this country.”
More transparency: “For a long time now, there’s been too much secrecy in this city,” Obama said during his first full day in office. In a federal lawsuit filed in San Francisco by AT&T customers, the Obama Department of Justice said releasing information collected through Bush-era warrantless wiretapping would disclose privileged “state secrets.”
Shortly after he took office, Obama ordered the closing of the prison at Guantanamo Bay. While a candidate, Obama criticized the Bush administration for creating a “legal black hole” at Guantanamo, where prisoners didn’t have any real due process to challenge accusations against them. Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan holds more prisoners than Guantanamo and prisoners there have few rights. But Bagram isn’t being considered for closure. The ACLU calls Bagram “the new Guantanamo” and “a prison outside the law.”
Early on, President Obama banned former lobbyists who join the administration from working at agencies they recently lobbied. He waived the rules on lobbyists so he could hire Raytheon’s William Lynn as deputy secretary of defense. The administration said he was “uniquely qualified” for the job. The Washington watchdog group Project on Government Oversight said it was absurd to say that Lynn was uniquely qualified.
At the second presidential debate last year, candidate Obama criticized his predecessor’s budget deficits: “When George Bush came into office, we had surpluses. And now we have half-a-trillion-dollar deficit annually.” The Congressional Budget Office projects a $1.4 trillion deficit for Obama’s 2010 budget.

So while Obama is all over the idiot box YouTube tonight, spewing endless false, inconsequential rhetoric and mesmerizing his flock, feel free to peruse this list of his failures and shortcomings.

Nothing like reality biting one in the ass and setting the record straight.

A symbol of Jesus was apparently blacked out behind President Barack Obama during his Georgetown speech.

A symbol of Jesus was apparently blacked out behind President Barack Obama during his Georgetown speech.

“The White House acknowledges that it asked Georgetown University, a Catholic institution, to cover up prominent Christian symbols for President Obama’s economic speech this past Tuesday. The symbols, the letters “IHS” which stands for Jesus Christ, and a cross, are engraved on a pediment that stands behind the stage from which Obama delivered his address. Both the cross and the symbolic representation of Jesus’ name were not hidden by the background drapes that the White House wanted for the event, and so the Administration asked the school to cover them.
A spokesman for the White House said that there was no intent behind the request to cover the symbols other than to provide a standard presidential background.

“Decisions made about the backdrop for the speech were made to have a consistent background of American flags, which is standard for many presidential events. Any suggestions to the contrary are simply false.”

A spokesperson for Georgetown echoed the White House line, but did not respond when asked if similar requests had been made for other presidential addresses at the school.
The Administration may have wanted to control the visuals from the speech, but the request to cover up Christian symbols at a Catholic school is bound to detract from the message. If the White House wanted to give a speech in a religiously neutral environment, there were plenty of venues to choose from in Washington. It is doubtful that anyone would have questioned the presence of the symbols had the Administration not asked for them to be hidden. Ironically, in their absence, the symbols may never have been more visible.

Obama does not want to be upstaged by the Son of God.  This is about as blasphemous and sinful as one can be.

Again I ask, why doesn’t people see the flashing neon signs, red flares and hear the sirens going off all around this guy.  By accepting Barack Obama, there are those in this country who are forsaking their souls for a one who promises material gains.

A true Christian would never have made such demands.  How much more proof does the world need to see that Barack Obama is a false prophet?  Christians who voted for him should be on their knees begging the Heavenly Father’s forgiveness and confessing their misdeeds in supporting this cretin.

What is even more disconcerting is that Georgetown University actually went along with Obama.

“Government lawyers defending President Obama and Congress in a lawsuit alleging that he’s ineligible to occupy the Oval Office and that members of the House and Senate violated the constitutional rights of citizens by refusing to investigate want still more time to respond to the accusations.

The case raises many of the same arguments as dozens of other lawsuits that have flooded into courtrooms around the nation since the November election.

It was filed in January by attorney Mario Apuzzo of New Jersey on behalf of Charles F. Kerchner Jr., Lowell T. Patterson, Darrell James Lenormand and Donald H. Nelson Jr. It names as defendants Barack Hussein Obama II, the U.S., Congress, the Senate, House of Representatives and former Vice President Dick Cheney along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Even though extensions had been granted to an initial round of requests to delay the proceedings, the government now says it needs even more time to prepare a response to a question that could be answered with a five-minute telephone call from the president to Hawaiian officials asking that his birth documentation be made public.

Instead, a request submitted by Ralph Marra Jr., the acting U.S. attorney, and Elizabeth Pascal, the assistant U.S. attorney in New Jersey, explains that the Department of Justice, operating under Obama appointee Attorney General Eric Holder, still is working on a decision on representation for the defendants….”

BORN IN THE USA?

If there was no actual validity to these accusations, this would have been shut down ages ago.  However, as the biggest fraudulent act and scam in the history of the United States continues to play itself out, Obambi stays on course in his quest to destroy a nation.  This is yet another ploy by those pulling the puppet Obambi’s strings to delay the inevitable.  How much more damage must be done before our court’s finally grow a set?

The lobby ban is a fraudulent act which reduces transparency. Registered lobbyists are recruiting “unregistered interested parties” to represent them and serve their agenda.  Everyone except the taxpayers get to have their cake and eat it too since there are no records of these backroom deals.  What a sweet deal.  No wonder they love Obambi.

Lobbyists are working around a White House order banning them from seeking details about the $787 billion economic-stimulus plan by instead sending company executives, lawyers or consultants to meet with federal officials in the hope of securing a share of the money.

The March 20 order bans federally registered lobbyists from requesting details about stimulus funds from government officials in person or by phone. Contacts must be in writing and posted online. But a month after the ban took effect, only a handful of contact reports appear on government Web sites — even though reports filed to Congress last week suggest that 2,500 entities lobbied on the bill last quarter.

The American League of Lobbyists, American Civil Liberties Union and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington met with White House ethics special counsel Norman Eisen Friday, calling the ban a curb on their constitutional right to petition the government. ALL President Dave Wenhold said the discussion “was exactly why you should have open and frank discussions — to create a better policy. … It’s not about improper influence, it’s about making sure all sides have their say.”

White House officials said the administration will review the rule within a month, and perhaps change it. But so far they have defended the ban, as have watchdog groups that say the order, however imperfect, opens the spending process to public scrutiny.

“We committed from the beginning to hold Recovery Act spending to unprecedented transparency and efficiency standards,” said Mr. Eisen, using the stimulus legislation’s formal name.

In the meantime, the rule has brought in a slew of work for nonregistered lawyers, who can call or meet with officials without submitting requests in writing, lawyers and lobbyists said. Business, public-interest and other advocates must register with the Senate if they spend more than 20% of their time lobbying members of Congress or federal officials.

“Where there’s any issue, it’s just easier to hand it off to somebody who’s not registered,” said Rich Gold, partner in the Washington office of law firm Holland & Knight, and a registered lobbyist. At his firm, “Certainly people are helping out who normally wouldn’t be engaged in this….”

Talk about b.s.ing the American people…..damn!  The Obama administration is the master of b.s.

Reform Groups Laud Obama’s Lobbying Rules

“Government reform groups issued a statement today in support of President Obama’s policies to restrict lobbyists’ influence in Washington and to increase transparency.”

Apparently, people either can’t help being so stupid or just love living in the dark and being made a fool of as politicians, lobbyists and the special interests they represent laugh their asses to the bank with taxpayer dollars in hand.
